bStocks, Binance’s tokenized stock product, is outpacing competitors with a $500M market cap and growing DeFi integration.

bStocks Scaling Rapidly as Tokenized Stock Demand Grows

bStocks, Binance’s tokenized stock product, is reportedly scaling faster than any comparable offering in the market, according to a new report. The bStocks ecosystem, which tokenizes U.S. securities as BEP-20 tokens on the BNB Chain, has reached an estimated $500 million in market capitalization as of August 27, 2026.

Launched on June 27, 2026, bStocks offer blockchain-based access to blue-chip U.S. equities and ETFs, enabling 24/7 trading and integration with DeFi applications. Each bStock is backed 1:1 by real shares held by a regulated broker-custodian, providing economic exposure without direct ownership of the underlying assets. For instance, tokens like GOOGLB, METAB, and NVDAB represent shares of Alphabet, Meta, and NVIDIA, respectively.

bStocks have quickly become a key feature of Binance’s ecosystem. PancakeSwap, a top decentralized exchange on the BNB Chain, integrated bStocks shortly after launch, offering a dedicated terminal for trading these tokenized securities. This move has positioned bStocks as a bridge between traditional equities and decentralized finance, catering to investors seeking exposure to traditional markets through blockchain.

Binance Academy’s July 27 guide emphasized the flexibility of bStocks, highlighting their compatibility with DeFi protocols and self-custodial wallets. Unlike conventional stock trading, bStocks allow investors to trade outside of standard market hours and use tokenized assets as collateral in DeFi lending and yield farming.

While the $500 million market cap is impressive for a product only two months old, it’s important to note that bStocks are not without competition. Several tokenized stock platforms, including those on Ethereum and Solana, offer similar functionality. However, Binance’s robust ecosystem and the BNB Chain’s lower fees give bStocks a competitive edge in attracting both retail and institutional investors.

From a trading perspective, the liquidity and utility of bStocks in the DeFi space make them an intriguing option for crypto-native investors. For example, Meta Tokenized bStocks (METAB) were recently listed at $574.00 with a live market cap of $8.47 million, signaling growing interest in high-profile equities on-chain.

As the tokenization of real-world assets continues to gain traction, bStocks could play a pivotal role in bridging traditional finance and blockchain. With the ecosystem still in its early stages, the next few months will be crucial for determining whether Binance can maintain its momentum and extend its lead in the tokenized stock market.
