According to NVIDIA, it uses EUMETSAT satellite observations to predict evolving cloud conditions across 16 Meteosat channels at 10-minute intervals. The company also said it is showing a live StormScope EU pipeline at GTC Berlin in an interactive weather demo built with Earthmover, using Earth2Studio to run forecasts and Earthmover\u2019s data platform to serve results as map tiles as new satellite observations arrive every 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>NVIDIA said Earth-2 provides open AI models and tools that developers and researchers can customize with their own data, with PhysicsNeMo used for training and customization. It said Vaisala Xweather is combining Earth-2 with proprietary observations, lightning data and forecasting expertise for government, energy, maritime, transportation and insurance customers, including adapting StormScope with lightning data for shorter-term warnings.
