NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) has locked in exclusive rights to host its AI compute infrastructure at SB Energy\u2019s PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Pike County, Ohio, marking a significant milestone in the company\u2019s strategy to scale AI infrastructure. The project, anchored by a $1.5 billion investment from NVIDIA, will initially deploy 4.25 IT-GW of capacity, with potential expansion to 8 IT-GW, serving OpenAI as the primary customer.<\/p>\n

The partnership underscores NVIDIA\u2019s aggressive push to secure long-term AI infrastructure as the demand for generative AI tools skyrockets. “AI is becoming infrastructure \u2014 the foundation for intelligence in every industry,” NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated, positioning the PORTS-Pike campus to play a pivotal role in this transformation.
