US President Donald Trump says the US and Iran have a deal for a \u201ctoll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz,\u201d sending Bitcoin to a two-week high.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin came just shy of $66,000 during Monday morning trading after US President Trump claimed that the US had brokered a peace deal with Iran that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all!\u201d Trump posted<\/a> on his Truth Social platform late on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade,\u201d Trump said. \u201cShips of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!\u201d<\/p>\n
