Toncoin rose 33.8% after Pavel Durov said Telegram would deepen its role in TON, while details on the foundation and validator structure remain unclear.<\/p>\n

Telegram founder Pavel Durov said Telegram will replace the TON Foundation as the main driving force behind The Open Network (TON) and become its largest validator, signaling a deeper operational role for the messaging platform in the blockchain ecosystem.<\/p>\n

In a Monday Telegram post, Durov said<\/a> TON fees had dropped sixfold to \u201cnearly zero\u201d and that the next step would be to shift the network\u2019s focus toward \u201ctech superiority.\u201d This includes a new website, new developer tools and performance upgrades.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The changes are expected over the next two to three weeks, according to Durov, who described the move as a step in a plan to \u201cMake TON Great Again.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
