Working largely solo, Cl\u00e9ment used Leonardo AI throughout production to generate and iterate on environmental assets. The workflow let him maintain visual consistency across a longer format\u2014something notoriously difficult when AI-generated imagery tends toward stylistic drift.<\/p>\n

“Leonardo helped me keep my overall vision intact from the beginning,” he noted. The platform ran constantly during production, serving as what Cl\u00e9ment calls a “visual skeleton” for the project.<\/p>\n

His core challenge? Threading the needle between surreal and believable. Too abstract and viewers disengage; too realistic and the dream logic falls apart. That tension\u2014familiar to anyone who’s tried to describe a dream the morning after\u2014drives the aesthetic.<\/p>\n

The finished piece, titled “Between Worlds,” demonstrates what’s possible when AI tools serve a coherent artistic vision rather than generating novelty for its own sake. Cl\u00e9ment is direct about his position: AI is his medium, not his message.<\/p>\n

“This project completely took me out of my comfort zone,” he said. The subtext is clear\u2014he’s betting his creative future on proving AI-assisted work can carry the same emotional weight as traditional filmmaking.<\/p>\n
