The move not only opens the door to steady staking rewards, but also shows that the Himalayan nation is willing to help support the network it\u2019s now participating in.<\/p>\n<p>As of press time, ETH is changing hands at about <strong>$3,006<\/strong>, slightly down <span><strong>0.76%<\/strong><\/span> over the last 24 hours, but still up <span><strong>6.26%<\/strong><\/span> over the last 7 days.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, the country has established a strong foothold in the crypto sector. In May, we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/bhutan-launches-worlds-first-national-crypto-tourism-payment-system-with-binance-pay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that Bhutan became the first country to launch a crypto-based tourism payment system, supported by Binance Pay and DK Bank. The system offers real-time confirmation and very low transaction fees, helping tourists visit without relying on traditional payment methods.<\/p>\n<p>Back in April, we&nbsp;<span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/bhutans-pm-says-world-to-mine-bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a> a statement from Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay indicating that the government was considering expanding<\/span> its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/what-are-bitcoin-mining\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin mining<\/a> activities.
