BC said Hong Kong\u2019s science-based regulatory strategy positions it as a leader in building a trustworthy digital finance future.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Wong said this at the \u201cRegulator and Visionary Forum\u201d during FinTech Week, stating that:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>\u201cThe SFC\u2019s RegTech-driven approach doesn\u2019t just safeguard markets, it creates clarity and confidence for global participants,\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>During the main stage panel titled \u201c<em>The Globalization of Digital Asset Trading: Building a Borderless Financial Ecosystem,<\/em>\u201d Wong acknowledged Hong Kong\u2019s regulatory progress. He said the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has taken a RegTech-driven, science-based approach to regulation. According to him, this improves market safety, increases transparency, and gives the industry a clear framework for growth. He insisted on the necessity of acting and not just talking, saying:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>\u201cCompliance must go beyond words; it must be consistent, transparent, and accountable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>Wong\u2019s remarks are a reflection of what KuCoin has been doing. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/kucoin-becomes-first-top-exchange-with-full-suite-of-global-security-certifications\/\">Just recently<\/a> became the first top platform to secure a full suite of global security certifications, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and CCSS.
