Zhao had been sentenced due to a plea deal related to insufficient anti-money laundering measures at Binance, the exchange he founded.<\/p>\n<p>In response to a request for comment about Zhao\u2019s release, a Binance spokesperson stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We are delighted that CZ will be home with his family.
