However, like most meme coins, the spotlight soon faded as newer shinier tokens like BONK, Dogwifhat and now POPCAT sprung up and gained a following. However, the team is betting on a revitalised marketing campaign to awaken the momentum that made FLOKI one of the biggest gainers in the space.<\/p>\n<p>FLOKI changes hands at $0.0001332 at press time, dipping 1.6% in the past 24 hours as volume dropped 7% to $221 million. This is despite a 1% rise for the broader market as some kike Ethereum, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/crypto-news-solana-hits-record-highs-in-monthly-addresses-rollblock-blasts-through-15000-presale-regs-spot-btc-etfs-see-187m-inflows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Solana<\/a> and Avalanche found their groove.<\/p>\n<p>Among the meme coins, FLOKI was joined by market leaders Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, which both dipped slightly for the day. However, its peers such as PEPE, WIF, BONK and POPCAT all gained in the past day. POPCAT, in particular, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/popcat-impressive-growth-outpaces-major-cryptos-and-meme-coins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has had a great week<\/a>, gaining 35% in that time. Starting in March this year, the project took to the Times Square Plaza in New York to advertise its token for three straight months. Floki\u2019s billboard was right next to Nasdaq\u2019s on one of New York\u2019s most iconic spots.<\/p>\n<p>Times Square attracts 50 million people per year, making it the busiest attraction in the entire United States. The logic for Floki was: When people think New York, they think Times Square. Now, when people think of meme coins, they will think of Floki.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crypto-news-flash.com\/why-analysts-believe-floki-will-lead-the-next-meme-coin-rally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FLOKI\u2019s price charts<\/a>, it\u2019s difficult to assess whether the advertising plan worked. In March, the price surged by over 700% from $0.00003204 to hit $0.0002695. However, this surge was before March 15, when the billboard went up. It also coincided with a broader market surge that pushed BTC to a new all-time high on March 14.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, Floki had conducted yet another aggressive marketing campaign in London in 2021. The memecoin branded London\u2019s bus and underground system with its marketing buzz, including a message to investors who might have missed the DOGE train to jump onboard FLOKI.
