- The lead developer of Shibarium, Shytoshi Kusama has disclosed that the beta version of the project would be released soon.
- He also disclosed that several projects have reached out to them to build on Shibarium.
Shibarium, the much-anticipated blockchain platform designed to enable users and developers to activate new use cases over the existing blockchain is said to be getting a lot of attention. According to Pseudonymous Shytoshi Kusama, a lead developer of Shiba Inu and the Shibarium project, there have been some incredible submissions to the intake form published this week on Medium. In his statement, it was disclosed that every incoming submission is being reviewed, and the responses for the filled-in forms would be sent out this weekend.
For those who submitted the intake form, you should see an email response this weekend. We’re just organizing and giving the attention each and every one of the several thousand submissions deserves.
Speaking in the reactivated Telegram Shibarium chat, Kusama mentioned that several projects have contacted the SHIB team to collaborate with Shibarium.

Kusama also thanked the community for the thousands of submissions, stating that this makes the SHIB army even stronger. While all is set for the release of the Shibarium Beta, the lead developer posted a tweet with a link to Spotify, saying “the song is on repeat while we finish.” He also invited everyone to the project.
ShibaSwap would be official DEX of Shibarium
The team behind the project had been a little silent recently, triggering concerns among the SHIB community members. Explaining that, Kusama stated that he has been working tirelessly with various teams under his leadership to update the public on the Shibarium Beta and the Shiba Inu metaverse. According to him, they are preparing to present the WAGMI Temple hub at the SXSW event later in the year.

Kusama also made a statement about the cross-chain platform ShibaSwap. According to him, the launch of Shibarium would make ShibaSwap the official decentralized exchange of Shibarium.
But please note something. The Shib Team will ensure that a cross-chain, updated (have you seen the new designs coming from the team!), and beautiful Shibaswap will be the Official Dex of Shibarium. Just in case that wasn’t clear. Can’t wait to see the others.

Shibarium has been in the news for some time now with news breaking on February 13 that the beta version of the project would be launched soon, but nothing happened. It was also reported that people interested in using the platform would have to buy Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) to operate it. One of the centre of interest of the project is security, as it is claimed to be secure and tamper-proof which makes it fit to be used for sensitive data. Its transparency also makes it ideal for tracking activities and transactions. On top of that, Shibarium is said to be cost-effective with interesting speed.
Shiba Inu is currently trading at $0.000011, and it is down by 13 percent in the last seven days. Considering the current market sentiment, hitting $0,001 would be unlikely in a short term. Shiba Inu could, however, hit this price point in the long term depending on how investors react to the Shibarium release.
