Bitcoin price is slowly moving higher above $19,500. BTC is currently (04:10 UTC) facing resistance near 19,650. A clear move above the $19,650 and $20,000 resistance levels might open the doors for a steady increase.
Similarly, most major altcoins are eyeing a steady increase. ETH could gain pace if it clears the $1,350 resistance zone. XRP is eyeing a fresh increase towards the $0.48 resistance. ADA is facing resistance near $0.435.
Bitcoin price
After retesting the $19,000 level, bitcoin price started a steady increase. BTC was able to clear the $19,200 and $19,300 levels. It even broke the $19,500 level and the 50-hour simple moving average. The price is now facing a strong resistance near the $19,650 level. The next major resistance is near $20,000, above which the price might gain bullish momentum.
On the downside, an initial support is near the $19,300 level. The next major support is near the $19,000 zone, below which the price could drop to $18,500.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price also formed a base above the $1,265 level and started a steady increase. ETH was able to clear the $1,300 resistance zone. There was also a move above the $1,320 level and the 50-hour simple moving average. On the upside, the price is facing resistance near the $1,330 level. The next major resistance is near the $1,350 level, above which the price could gain bullish momentum.
On the downside, an initial support is near the $1,305 level and the 50-hour simple moving average. The next major support is $1,265, below which price could gain bearish momentum.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) is consolidating above the $0.42 level. It is slowly moving higher towards the $0.435 resistance zone. The main support sits near the $0.45 level, above which the price could rise towards $0.48.
BNB is trading in a range above the $285 level. It is facing resistance near the $292 level. The next major resistance is near $295, above which it could rise towards the $300 level.
Solana (SOL) is up over 2% and trading above the $33 level. An immediate resistance is near the $33.50 level. A close above $33.50 could send the price towards the $35 level.
DOGE is consolidating above the $0.0600 level. If there is a decent increase, the price might test $0.0620. If the bulls gain strength, the price may perhaps rise towards the $0.0642 level.
XRP price is back above the $0.45 support. An immediate resistance is near the $0.465 level. A clear move above $0.465 could send the price towards the $0.50 level.
Other altcoins market today
Many altcoins are in the green zone, including MKR, RUNE, EGLD, ATOM, MATIC, KAVA, LINK, LDO, QNT, and LINK. Out of these, MKR gained over 8% and there was a move above the $830 level.
Overall, bitcoin price is showing positive signs above the $19,500 level. If BTC gains pace above $19,650, it could even surpass the $20,000 level.
